We had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Captain Jacob from Just Breathe Charters! Myself and three friends went out today, and it turned into the best fishing trip any of us have ever experienced. From start to finish, Captain Jacob was top-notch. Very knowledgeable, laid-back, and dialed in on where the fish were. We caught an amazing variety: triple tail, snook, redfish, black drum, and trout. Even better, a bunch of them were over slot, and we still managed to bring home several solid keepers. Every spot he put us on produced, and it honestly felt like nonstop action. Whether you’re experienced or just looking for a great time on the water, this is the guy you want to book with. Can’t recommend Captain Jacob and Just Breathe Charters enough!!! We’ll 100% be back!
I can’t say enough about Jacob! Personable, knowledgeable, friendly and charismatic! I’m an experienced fisherman who has been on dozens of charters and none have even come close to his skill set! His one-of-kind boat is taylor made for the waters he fishes and his tutorial along the way is extremely informative. Do yourself a favor and don’t even consider another Captain. Lastly, his prices are the absolute best. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you give Jacob and Just Breathe Charters the chance to “WOW” you like he did for me!
I’ve been fishing with Jacob off and on for 2 years now also took my brother and my 2 sons ‘ every time he puts us on fish also huge fish !!! We always have a great time especially if you like the skinny water he’s your guy ‘ full of knowledge about fish and the history behind the nature coast. So if you’re interested in booking with a guide’ look no further than this dude he’s far ahead of his age and always a good day fishing with my dude and if you want shallow water gags especially now in January!!!!
What a great time!! Caught lots of fish-several different species. I learned a lot! Jacob is very knowledgeable about the area and the different fish we were chasing. If I had complaint it would be for Capt. Jacob to slow down time--it went to fast !! Always does when you are having fun!! I will be back soon! Thanks Capt. Jacob.
Had a blast out on the water with Captain Jacob! Very skilled and knowledgeable! Very genuine and kind. It was fun learning about the area and all the strategies he uses as well as all the species of fish we were looking for. Learned a lot! We spent a half day on the water and caught a what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend 🎣
Had an awesome time with Captain Jacob. We bought this inshore charter trip for my father-in-law as a Christmas present and were not disappointed. He had us on the fish in no time and worked all day to make sure we had a great time. We didn’t realize how many fish we caught until he started to filet them since we were so busy the whole day having fun and reeling them in. If you want to make great memories with your family this is the trip to book. 10 stars!
I took my 5 yr old grandson who loves fishing on his first saltwater trip and Capt Jacob gave us a amazing day on the water. He was first class in every way. He tought my grandson all about the different species we cought and all about the birds and other wildlife that live in the nature coast. We cought fish nonstop on every spot he took us too. This was a dream come true trip for us, and a trip that my grandson will remember for ever. I highly recommend Capt Jocob and we will be back hopefully many more times.
I've been on every type of guided saltwater trips you can do and on this trip I took my cousin and her husband and was by far one of the most enjoyable trips we've been on. I consider myself a great caster and inshore fishermen but Captain Jacob puts me to shame. I've never fished with a Captain who could make hundreds of long cast and place it inches from the mangrove shoreline where the bait has to be to catch the bigger snook and redfish. Not only will you catch plenty of fish you'll learn so much from a really knowledgeable Captain. If you want to book a guided trip where you not only catch fish but have a great time and have a memorable trip you'll always remember then book with Just Breathe Charters. And like me you'll book future trips with him.
It’s rare that you book a trip with someone as personable as Jacob. I’ve been on dozens of charters and this charter was by far the best. Not only did he put us on good fish all day, but he was extremely knowledgeable of the fishery. Even gave us some really good pointers on methods to use in the area. If you want to get on the water with someone who truly has a passion for what they do and will send you home with a good bag of fish, go with Just Breathe Charters! We will be back in the fall!
My family had the pleasure of fishing with Jacob today. The trip was for my 8 yr old boy and Jacob made sure it was a day to remember. My boys comments are as follows: Can we go back and fish with him again?, best day ever, great teacher and very polite. The bite could have been better but Jacob went above and beyond to get us on fish. We will be back. Thank you!
Don't let a young Captain deter you from booking. Capt Jacob was more than knowledgeable when it comes to fishing in general and definitely knows the waters around Crystal River. We had a blast and learned so much while limiting out on Reds even had to let an overslot go. Trout was a bit slower but still managed some keepers, 1 over 19". Personable, professional and good sense of humor. Will go again sometime and continue to harvest knowledge and info as I plan on moving to area in the next 8-12 months.
Captain Jacob not only is incredibly knowledgeable of all the different species of fish we have on the nature coast, he also is extremely well versed on the history of the area. My husband and I have fished these waters for years but learned so, so much from Captain Jacob. We highly recommend booking a trip, especially for the Reds! We will definitely be booking again.
Capt. Jacob put us on the fish within 15mins of being out! Multiple Overslot Redfish, My girlfriend and I both got Fat slot fish also! 10 out of 10 Recommend!! Lots of other fish on the boat throughout the day also!!! At 1 point we Caught Multiple Overslot and a keeper in 10mins! 👌 What A Day!! Go see for Yourself!!
I had a great time, and learned a lot from the captain. We fished the Ozella area. It truly was a great trip. We limited out on redfish. That was the fish we were targeting that day and that’s what I wanted to catch. The captain is young and knows his stuff. He volunteered his time for Operation Odyssey Outdoors O3. He took veterans out fishing during the week we were there. everyone had a great time. I highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to fish the back waters of Crystal River, Ozella, and any other area close to there. Thank you for a great trip and a great time five stars.
